Biographical Sketch

After working in the banking industry for 12 years after graduating with my bachelor's degree in accounting and obtaining my CPA license, I felt drawn back to collegiate education. As a hiring manager, I saw the need for good accountants right here in North Louisiana, and I knew ULM was producing a strong pool of students. I want to help bridge the gap between college graduates and the local workforce, keeping good talent in North Louisiana. I also want to build the network of accountants and CPAs in this area. I serve the students as faculty advisor for Beta Alpah Psi as well as coordinate our accounting career fair, which connects our students directly with the local firms and professionals who need them. I have a passion for teaching and seeing people succeed, and I consider myself blessed to be part of a person's journey in achieving their goals.
