Biographical Sketch

Lacey Russell, MSN, AGACNP-BC, is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and clinical instructor with extensive experience in urgent care, orthopedics, critical care, and cardiovascular recovery. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University, where she also conducted a pilot study on the effects of bioidentical hormone replacement study and its impact of the quality of life in women. With a background as a critical care and cardiovascular recovery nurse, Lacey brings a strong foundation in acute care and patient education to her teaching. Her professional interests include evidence-based practice, student mentorship, and bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world clinical application.
