Biographical Sketch

Dr. Ron Berry is a Professor of Information Systems and currently teaches business analytics, management information systems, and business communications.  He previously served ULM as Dean of the College of Business and Social Sciences, Department Head of CIS, and President. 

He maintains a research agenda in the area of technology, small businesses, business education, and risk management. Over his academic career, he has published over 50 journal articles and conference papers and was the founding editor of the Journal of Internet Commerce, a peer reviewed academic journal.  He has written and received grants totaling over $2.0 million for research, technology enhancements, and economic development.  He is a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Higher Education and earned his doctorate from Mississippi State University in Information Systems.
