Danielle Kelley Tolbird is an instructor of communication at the University of Louisiana Monroe, where she teaches courses on public speaking, mass media, and other topics. Before joining faculty, Tolbird practiced public relations in the government and nonprofit sectors for a decade. Her experience in media relations, email campaign management, and fundraising strategies inform her teaching. She has served on community nonprofit boards, and currently serves as the chair of the First West Thrift Store Advisory Board. She holds both a graduate and undergraduate degree from the LSU Manship School of Mass Communication.
